TREASURERDr. John McCracken is a professor of healthcare management at the University of Texas at Dallas. John formerly served on the faculty of the Columbia University Graduate School of Business, as an investment banker with a major Wall Street firm and as a corporate senior financial officer. He has a decade of experience in the workout and turnaround management of distressed healthcare and financial services organizations. He holds a BA in economics from Southern Methodist University, an MSc in economics from the London School of Economics and a PhD in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a recipient of the School of Management's Distinguished Teaching Award and the Executive MBA program's Most Outstanding Professor Award. John is married to Sandi and has been a resident of the Villas for seven years. We are fortunate to have such a qualified Board member to serve as Treasurer.
SECRETARYJeannie Paris currently serves as Secretary of the Board. She recently retired from Thompson & Knight where she was an Administrative Assistant to the Practice Leader of the Trial Department for many years. She attended the University of Louisiana in Lafayette, Louisiana, and Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Jeannie is originally from South Louisiana and enjoys having friends over for traditional "Cajun" dinners. She is an enthusiastic gardener, reader of mysteries and biographies, and gets her exercise walking her Westie (Chloe) and Yorkiepoo (Lilly). She has one grown daughter in San Antonio and two grandchildren.
